I have so much love for this gorgeous family! We were very blessed to have a gorgeous day and of course it’s always colorful and fun downtown Iowa City. I think what I love most about these pics is seeing how each one of them looks at each other with so much love. So can feel the love they have for one another and that is truly special.

I had to share some pics from this sun soaked session. We went to Cedar Ridge Winery at Sunset and it was gorgeous! I was so excited when Shannon got ahold of me to do another family for her! I had done Natalie’s newborn session and it was such an honor to be able to capture some more wonderful memories for them. Natalie was a Beautiful newborn and now she is the most Adorable one year old in the world! The happiest little gal ever 🙂

It was so fun to shoot Kristen and Marcus’s engagement session! You could ask for a sweeter couple and a couple more in love. They even take ballroom dancing, I got to see some moves but I cannot until they dance at their wedding!

Oh this family! Have you ever seen so much gorgeousness?! First when Megan asked me if she could wear one of my flower crowns at their shoot I seriously asked her if we had just become best friends! Haha! I was so excited!
We were lucky enough to get out to an apple orchard with lots of pretty blossoms and were blessed with such a gorgeous evening.

This was such a happy day and I Loved editing this wedding. The downtown urban setting was so neat! Austin and Tara are clearly meant for each other and love one another fiercely. It was an honor to capture these special moments!
I know Tara’s sister Aubree from when I went back to school for graphic design. It was such a treat to spend time with her and her amazing family.
And seriously can we talk about how gorgeous Tara is and that DRESS! Ahh loved everything about this day.

Winter weddings are so so gorgeous! I was super excited about there being some snow still for Shelby and Jason’s wedding. Despite the cold this wedding party were a bunch of troopers, they braved the weather and we got tons of gorgeous shots. Shelby was such a stunning bride. Her and Jason are so in love, they way they look at each other and speak about one another was just amazing to see. We had a lot of fun at this wedding and I wish them a lifetime of happiness together.

First thing I have to say is this wedding was in January, we were extremely blessed with some amazing weather! It was the most gorgeous day with the most wonderful couple.
I have know Jaclyn for quite some time and she is seriously the funnest coolest person ever and I was Elated when she asked me to photograph her wedding! She is also a Pagliai, yes as in Pagliai’s Pizza in Iowa City. If you have not had it google it and get there immediately, it’s the best pizza in the world 🙂
Jaclyn and Todd love each other so very much, as you can see from the photos. One thing I couldn’t get over was how they looked at one another and smiled with such happiness. (It even made me tear up just a tad when I was editing) They are both great people and had Such an amazing wedding party. We all had a lot of fun!
I wish them both a lifetime of happiness and love and I am so thankful I was able to be a part of their special day.

I was Super excited when my girl Robin asked me to photograph her little man’s first birthday party. I was more than happy to do it and she could put down her camera and just enjoy the whole day with family and friends!
The theme was Winter Onederland 😉 How cute right?! Robin definitely outdid herself with making it super adorable and fun. She had the Late Night Cake Company make an Amazing little cake. She had these fuzzy little snowballs that kids and adults enjoyed throwing at one another. Sandwiches shaped in B’s and 1’s, super fun party favors, a hot chocolate bar and a penguin piñata. (The kids had a difficult time breaking it but Robin came through saving the day, see below)
It was a wonderful day and I am so happy to call this wonderful lady and her family my friends. They mean a lot to me and I could photograph them literally every week! So here are some of my favorites from the party so please Enjoy! xoxo
