I have so much love for this gorgeous family! We were very blessed to have a gorgeous day and of course it’s always colorful and fun downtown Iowa City. I think what I love most about these pics is seeing how each one of them looks at each other with so much love. So can feel the love they have for one another and that is truly special.

I have been SO behind on blogging and just now trying to catch up! What a perfect way to get back in saddle then with this amazing session!
Sara is the sweetest best mama EVER! We had SO much fun! We played with glitter, played ring around the rosie, looked at clouds, played airplane, collected sticks and giggled A LOT! Who wouldn’t want a fun session like that with their kiddo?! I was so happy to be a part of it and capture this happy fun memories for them. Truly it was my pleasure ❤

Oh this family! Have you ever seen so much gorgeousness?! First when Megan asked me if she could wear one of my flower crowns at their shoot I seriously asked her if we had just become best friends! Haha! I was so excited!
We were lucky enough to get out to an apple orchard with lots of pretty blossoms and were blessed with such a gorgeous evening.

2014 was an Amazing year!
I cannot even begin to express my thanks to everyone who supported me this year. I put together some photos of some wonderful moments from 2014. I have been able to capture so much love, laughter, new life, marriage, joy, milestones and friendship. I value Each and Every single person who came to me in 2014 to capture something special to them.
In 2015 some things will be changing slightly for my business. Prices will change a little, and the amount of sessions I do per month will change. I had a great time this last year but I learned just How important it is to have more family time and time to peruse some personal projects I want to do. SO I cannot stress enough that if you want to get on the books for 2015, do it now 🙂
Now onto my New Years resolutions:
Shoot More for myself and family
Experiment more with different techniques
TRAVEL
Wear Lipstick
Eat Healthier (cause let’s face it I’m going to promise to go to the gym daily haha)
Spend more time with loved ones, friends and family
Move to a new house

Many of you might not know that awhile ago I was a preschool teacher and I got to have this handsome little man in my preschool class. He has always been such a joy and an amazing little boy so it Awesome to see him as he is growing up! Also I knew Quan his dad from High School. So seeing them all and having fun photographing them was just a total treat!
I mean how adorable is this family? It was a bit chilly and windy but we had fun throwing leaves and laughing. This family is full of love for one another and I was so happy to capture that. I cannot wait to see them again! 🙂
I got to meet Allysa through my youngest son Owen. Our little boys go to preschool together and are the cutest two best buds ever! I am so glad I have gotten to know Allysa and her family, she is such a wonderful wife and mother! They also own the restaurant Casa Azul, which everyone should check out if you are in the area 🙂

I am SO lucky Robin and I’s paths have crossed. She is the most amazing lady! Robin also does photography so I was totally honored to be able to capture some awesome family moments for her.
Robin and her husband Ryan do some Amazing work for the No Foot Too Small Foundation, which I really recommend everyone checks out. I was moved when I able to photograph the No Foot Too Small benefit this fall and honor her little angel Beau and all the other beautiful angels.
While editing this session I definitely felt like sweet little Beau was shining down on us that day.

Ahh this session! Easily has to be one of my favs from the Fall! I know these two lovely people from High School so it was such a joy to work with them and meet their little gal. They are such a loving couple and the most wonderful parents. It was an honor capturing these memories for them. Can’t wait to see them again!
